Collov AI alternatives in 2026: 9 options compared by what you need

Collov AI is a credit subscription ($19–$127 a month billed yearly) that bundles AI virtual staging with photo editing, renovation edits, multi-angle staging, virtual tours and a human-assisted tier, so the right alternative depends on which part you actually use: for plain staging at the lowest price, Virtual Staging AI, AI HomeDesign or StageHQ; for a designer on each image, Styldod or BoxBrownie; for staging plus a short narrated video, Shhots; for furniture buyers can buy, REimagineHome; and if the photos have not been taken yet, October guides an iPhone capture, draws AI-generated photos from it that keep the room's layout and fixed features, and usually returns them with a walkthrough and staged rooms within a few hours. This page compares nine options from their public pages as of October 2026; it is written by October's founder and ranks October where it fits.

How we compared them

We read Collov AI's pricing page and homepage and, for each alternative, its own pricing page or homepage, on October 21, 2026. We did not run the same room through every service, so this is a comparison of what each one offers and charges, not of staging quality. Collov's pricing page shows four plans with monthly prices and yearly totals; the totals are exactly twelve times the monthly figures although the page advertises '25% OFF' for yearly billing, so we quote the prices as shown and note the discrepancy. Where a plan's features are listed on the page without a clear plan assignment (Collov's renovation edits), we say which plan we are sure of.

A note on prices: Collov AI, Virtual Staging AI, AI HomeDesign, StageHQ, Shhots and Styldod show dollars with no currency named. Collov's and Virtual Staging AI's headline monthly prices are yearly-billing prices. BoxBrownie's pricing page shows prices by region; its US price for virtual staging, read on October 27, 2026 with the region set to United States, is $24 an image, 20% below the $30 list price captured in August 2026 by Shhots.

Who should not switch away from Collov AI

Collov AI covers more ground than any other AI staging subscription on this page, and a page of alternatives should say so. Its pricing page lists Standard at $19 a month (60 photo credits), Advanced at $49 (150), Premium at $79 (263) and Enterprise at $127 (526), all 'Billed as' twelve times that yearly. A staging is one credit with a '10 second turn-around' and unlimited regeneration; a multi-angle image is three credits; a human-assisted multi-angle image on Premium and Enterprise is twenty. Advanced adds AI photo editing (add, edit and remove furniture, enhance photo quality, material overlay, twilight, remove rain and clouds, change seasons, pool water, lawn replacement) and AI chat edits; Premium adds an AI listing agent, an AI virtual tour from up to 20 images, 360 panoramas and 3D tours; Enterprise adds API access and extra photos at $0.24 each. Every plan includes a one-click staging disclaimer, a commercial licence and high-resolution downloads, and new users get five watermarked trials.

  • You stage the same room from several angles. Collov's multi-angle staging, and the human-assisted version on Premium, keeps the furniture consistent across photos of one room. None of the other AI tools here advertise that; the human services do it by hand at $16–$30 an image.
  • You want staging, editing, a tour and a listing write-up from one login. Premium bundles all of them. The nearest rivals bundle two or three: AI HomeDesign (staging and editing), Shhots (correction, staging, removal and a clip).
  • You want the lowest marginal price. Enterprise's $0.24 extra photo is the cheapest add-on rate on this page, tied with AI HomeDesign's Enterprise rate on yearly billing.
  • You want a person available without leaving an AI tool. The human-assisted tier is unusual: an AI product with a designer-backed option on the same plan.

If one of those is you, the rest of this page is for the day you need something Collov does not do: staging without a subscription, a designer on every image, a cheaper entry plan for a few photos, a video with a presenter, or photos when they have not been taken yet.

Collov's per-credit price works out at $0.32 on Standard, $0.33 on Advanced, $0.30 on Premium and $0.24 on Enterprise if you use every credit on one-credit stagings; a human-assisted image at 20 credits is $4.80–$6.40 of plan, far below Styldod's $16 but with no revisions or guarantee stated. AI HomeDesign's homepage says 'From $0.24 per photo', which is its Enterprise rate on yearly billing, not the entry price.

I only stage, and want it cheap and simpleVirtual Staging AI, AI HomeDesign, StageHQVirtual Staging AI's $19 plan stages 20 photos a month with no credit arithmetic; AI HomeDesign's $19 yearly-billed plan stages or edits 30; StageHQ's $19 pack stages 20 whenever you like. Collov's $19 plan gives 60 credits, more than any of them, but only if you want the rest of the tool.
I stage a few images a year and don't want a subscriptionStageHQ, Apply DesignStageHQ's credits never expire; Apply Design charges per image with the first free. Collov's and the other subscriptions reset unused credits every month.
I want a designer on every imageStyldod, BoxBrownieStyldod at $16–$23 with unlimited revisions and a money-back guarantee, BoxBrownie at $24 with free changes for two months, both in 24–48 hours. Collov's human-assisted tier (20 credits on Premium or Enterprise) is the halfway house.
I want staging plus photo correction and item removalAI HomeDesign, Shhots (or Collov Advanced)AI HomeDesign bundles staging, item removal, day to dusk and enhancement on every plan from $19 billed yearly. Shhots pairs correction, staging and removal at about $0.45 a generation. Collov's editing starts on its $49 Advanced plan.
I want a videoOctober, Shhots, Collov (stay), StyldodOctober's walkthrough is AI-generated motion (Kling) between the room's finished photos. Shhots makes a 15-second narrated clip with a presenter from 3–4 photos. Collov's Premium makes an AI virtual tour from up to 20 images. Styldod edits video you shoot.
The photos haven't been taken yetOctoberEvery other option starts from a photo you upload. October guides the capture on an iPhone 12 or newer, draws the finished photos from it with an AI image model, usually delivers them and the walkthrough within a few hours, and stages or empties any captured room at $29 or $19, every photo of that room. See virtual staging vs empty room.

What a 6-room listing costs: per credit vs per room

Take a six-room home and 18 photos, three per room, which is what October captures, and suppose two of the rooms are empty and should be staged: six images. Here is that job priced along Collov's per-credit path and October's per-room path, using the list prices above. On Collov we assume the $19 Standard plan (60 credits, billed yearly as $228) for staging alone, or the $49 Advanced plan if you also want the 18 photos edited, since photo editing starts there. For the photographer we use PhotoUp's 2026 national average of $230 for a standard shoot of 10–25 MLS-ready photos.

Read it both ways. If you already have good photos, Collov's $19 or $49 month beats October's $58 for the staging and covers far more images. If the photos still have to be taken, October's $49 covers the capture and the finished photos, and its staging is priced per room, so three images of one room cost the same $29. Your first place with October is free, including the walkthrough (pricing). More in our virtual staging cost guide.

Three things to check before you switch

  • Whether the room stays the room. Staging adds furniture; renovation edits (walls, floors, twilight, lawn, seasons) change the property, and a photo that shows a floor or sky the home does not have misrepresents it, whatever the tool. Collov's plans include a one-click staging disclaimer; Shhots lists what it never changes on a staging pass; October's photos are all drawn by an AI image model from your capture, told to keep walls, floors, windows, fittings and the view, and checked against the capture and redrawn if the room changed, but AI can still get a detail wrong; staged and emptied images carry a label on the image. Compare each result with the original before it goes on a listing.
  • What the price is really per. Per credit on a yearly-billed monthly pool (Collov, REimagineHome), per photo on a yearly-billed allowance (Virtual Staging AI, AI HomeDesign), per credit that never expires (StageHQ), per image (Apply Design, Styldod, BoxBrownie), per credit on a monthly pool (Shhots) or per room (October). Count images per listing and listings per month, and check whether multi-angle or human-assisted work costs 3 or 20 credits before you compare.
  • Disclosure. A staged, emptied or renovated photo is a digitally altered image under California's AB 723 and most MLS rules, whoever makes it: label it and keep the unaltered original. Every October photo, staged or not, is an AI-generated image, so label it as AI-altered or digitally altered where your MLS, portal or state requires; October's download includes the unaltered original of every photo, so you can link or provide it where your MLS or state requires. See AI photo editing and MLS rules and the best virtual staging apps.

Questions

What is the best alternative to Collov AI?

It depends on which part of Collov you use. For staging alone, Virtual Staging AI ($16–$79 a month billed yearly), AI HomeDesign (from $19 billed yearly, with editing) or StageHQ ($19 for 20 photos, no subscription). For a designer on every image, Styldod ($16–$23) or BoxBrownie ($24). For staging plus a short narrated video, Shhots. For furniture buyers can buy, REimagineHome. If the photos have not been taken yet, October guides one iPhone walk and returns AI-generated photos drawn from it, a walkthrough and staged rooms, usually within a few hours.

How much does Collov AI cost?

As of October 2026 its pricing page lists Standard at $19 a month (60 credits), Advanced at $49 (150), Premium at $79 (263) and Enterprise at $127 (526), each shown as billed yearly at twelve times the monthly price. A staging is 1 credit, a multi-angle image 3 and a human-assisted multi-angle image 20; Enterprise adds extra photos at $0.24 each. New users get 5 watermarked trials. Unused credits reset each month.

Does Collov AI use human designers?

Partly. Its Premium and Enterprise plans include 'Human-Assisted Multi-Angle Staging' at 20 credits an image; everything else on the page is AI with a 10-second turnaround. Among the alternatives, Styldod and BoxBrownie put a designer on every image; Virtual Staging AI, AI HomeDesign, REimagineHome, StageHQ, Apply Design, Shhots and October do not promise one.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Collov AI?

Per image at volume, Collov is already among the cheapest: $0.24–$0.33 a credit on its plans. StageHQ's $69 pack is about $0.28 a photo with no expiry, AI HomeDesign's Enterprise rate is $0.24 on yearly billing, and Virtual Staging AI's cheapest is $0.53. For a few photos a year, StageHQ's $19 pack or Apply Design's $7–$15 an image avoid a subscription altogether. October stages at $29 per room, every photo of that room.

Which Collov AI alternatives make a video?

October makes an AI-generated walkthrough (Kling) that moves between the room's finished photos, in HD or 4K. Shhots makes a 15-second narrated clip with an on-camera presenter from 3–4 photos. Styldod edits video you shoot from $60 or makes a single property video from $30. Collov itself makes an AI virtual tour from up to 20 images on its Premium plan. Virtual Staging AI, AI HomeDesign, REimagineHome, StageHQ, Apply Design and BoxBrownie list none.

Can October stage photos I already have?

No. October stages rooms captured with its own app on an iPhone 12 or newer: an Empty room is $19 and a Staged room (Scandinavian, Modern or Classic) $29, covering every photo of that room, with a visible label on each image. For photos you already have, use one of the other eight options on this page.

Did you test all nine?

No. This page compares what each service publishes on its own pricing page or homepage, checked on October 21, 2026. We only describe October from first-hand knowledge, because we make it.
