Nodalview alternatives in 2026: photo, tour and video apps compared by what you need
The right Nodalview alternative depends on which part of it you use: for 3D tours and floor plans, Matterport (from $108 a month for 10 active spaces) or Zillow 3D Home (free, floor plans with a 360° camera); for HDR photos and a video from a phone at published prices, Exposio ($0.99 a photo, video included); for human-edited photos plus 360° tours and property websites on one plan, PhotoUp (from $49 a month); for a person checking every phone photo, Ovvy ($2 a photo); and if you want the app to decide where to stand and return AI-generated photos and a walkthrough video, usually within a few hours, October, from $49 a place with the first place free. This page compares Nodalview and six alternatives from their own pages as of October 22, 2026; it is written by October's founder, and for an agency that wants photos, tours, floor plans, video and team branding in one subscription, Nodalview is still the most complete.

How we compared them
We read Nodalview's US App Store listing and its own homepage, pricing, mobile app, floor plan, video, HDR and press pages and its online shop, and for each alternative its App Store listing or own pricing page, on October 22, 2026. Matterport's pricing page returned a 404 from our side, so its plan prices come from PricingSaaS's dated capture of the October 12, 2026 change, which our Matterport and Zillow 3D Home guide also uses. We did not shoot the same home with every app, so this is a comparison of what each one offers and charges, not of image or tour quality.
A note on currency: Nodalview's plans are by quote, its in-app credit packs are in US dollars on the App Store, and its shop and largest credit packs are in euros. Matterport, Zillow, Exposio's US App Store prices, PhotoUp, Ovvy and October are in US dollars.
When Nodalview is still the better choice
Nodalview was founded in 2016 and is backed by investors from Ghent, London and Madrid; its site says it has 22,000+ clients in 30+ countries. Its app captures HDR photos with what it calls Smart Fusion, 360° images for virtual tours and floor-plan scans; AI tools empty or stage a room, repaint walls, erase objects and replace skies; and its AI turns your photos into a property video. Floor plans come back within 24 hours of a scan that takes under 5 minutes. Around that sits a web platform with property Smart Links that capture leads, live remote viewings, listing statistics, team collaboration and branding. The app has 4.7 stars from 77 App Store ratings and runs in seven languages; its site says it works on iPhone and Android.
- You want every format from one phone and one login. HDR photos, video, a 360° tour and a floor plan of the same property, under one brand, with your team's assets synced. No single alternative here does all four: Matterport and Zillow 3D Home do tours and plans, Exposio and October photos and video.
- You run an agency. Teams, branding, lead capture on Smart Links, listing statistics and live viewings are platform features the phone-only apps here do not have.
- You win listings at the valuation. Nodalview pitches its app for the seller's first visit: stage or empty a room on the phone while the seller watches.
- You want hardware that fits the app. Its shop sells a Photo Kit (€99), lenses (€69 each), a nodal arm, a tripod and a motor for 360° capture (€129), or the Pro full kit (€366).
- You work outside the US. Nodalview's platform runs in English, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish, and it bills by card or SEPA direct debit.
What sends people looking is mostly price visibility: plans are by quote ('Request pricing'), and credits for photos, videos, tours and floor plans come on top. If you want published prices, one of the formats done better, or no subscription at all, read on.
The 7 options compared (as of October 2026)
| Option | What it is | Photos | Tours and floor plans | Video | Price basis | Platform | Best for |

| Ovvy | Camera app plus an editing service with a manual quality check; staging, twilight, property website | Taken in the app, edited and checked, back within 12 hours | No | No | $2 a photo, or Pro $29/month for 30; 20 free photos | iPhone (iOS 17.6+) | Agents who want a person checking every phone photo |
| October | iPhone app that guides the capture (an arrow to each spot, a level, three spots per room, the app takes the shot); an AI image model then draws each finished photo from the capture of that spot, and an AI video model makes a walkthrough | AI-generated photo per spot, drawn from the stitched capture: brighter, straightened, loose items left out; the model is told to keep layout, fixed features and view, and each photo is checked against the capture and redrawn if the room changed | No | AI-generated walkthrough (Kling) moving between each room's finished photos, HD (1920×1080) or 4K (3840×2160, the same film upscaled) | Per place (up to 6 rooms): $49 photos, $99 with walkthrough, $199 with 4K; Start $149/month (2 places), Pro $399/month (6); Empty room $19, Staged $29 per room; first place free | iPhone 12 or newer | Finished photos and a walkthrough back within hours, without a photographer |

Nodalview is the only one of the seven that covers photos, video, tours and floor plans in one account. Each alternative is stronger at one part of it, cheaper, or easier to price, and weaker at the rest.
Which alternative, by what you need
| Your situation | Look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Buyers need to walk the home remotely | Matterport, Zillow 3D Home | Both make tours the buyer moves through. Matterport adds measured, exportable models for large or commercial properties; Zillow 3D Home is free and posts to Zillow, Trulia and Redfin. Compared in October vs Matterport and Zillow 3D Home. |
| I mostly need floor plans | Zillow 3D Home, Matterport, PhotoUp | Zillow 3D Home builds an interactive floor plan from a supported 360° camera at no charge; Matterport makes schematic floor plans from its scans; PhotoUp draws 2D plans from 20 credits. Buyers rate floor plans very useful more often than virtual tours (57% against 41%, NAR 2025). |
| I want published prices for photos and a video | Exposio | Exposio publishes $0.99 an HDR photo with Motion video included and no plan to negotiate. Nodalview's plans are by quote. See Exposio alternatives. |
| I want a person on the edit | PhotoUp, Ovvy | PhotoUp's human editors work on photos you upload, in 24 hours; Ovvy edits and manually checks photos from its own camera app within 12 hours. Nodalview's editing is automatic and AI. |
| I want finished photos and a walkthrough within hours, without a photographer | October | October's app shows the photographer's spot with an arrow and the distance, takes the photos itself at three spots per room, and has an AI image model draw each finished photo from that capture; the photos and an AI walkthrough video usually come back within a few hours. It does not make tours or floor plans, so pair it with Zillow 3D Home if you need them. See photos and a video tour from one walkthrough. |
| I want everything, for a team, under our brand | Nodalview (or Matterport plus a photo app) | This is Nodalview's case. The nearest combination of the others is a Matterport or Zillow tour for layout plus a photo app for the listing photos. |
What one listing costs: photos, video, tour and floor plan
Take a six-room home: 18 photos (three per room, which is what October captures), a video, a 360° tour and a floor plan. Here is that listing on Nodalview's credits next to the alternatives, at list prices, leaving out monthly plan fees where they apply.
| Item | Nodalview (credits on top of the plan) | Alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| 18 photos | 18 credits | Exposio 18 × $0.99 = $17.82; Ovvy 18 × $2 = $36; October $49 for the place |
| A video | 15 credits (its video page says 'No extra cost') | Exposio Motion included; October $99 for photos + HD walkthrough, $199 in 4K |
| A 360° tour | 15 credits | Zillow 3D Home free; Matterport one of 10 active spaces on the $108/month plan; PhotoUp 5 tours on its $49 plan |
| A floor plan | 15 credits | Zillow 3D Home free with a supported 360° camera; PhotoUp from 20 credits ($30 at $1.50) |
| Total | 48–63 credits: about $66–$87 at the in-app rate of 40 credits for $55, plus the plan by quote | Exposio + Zillow 3D Home: about $18 and a 360° camera. October + Zillow 3D Home: $99 and a 360° camera |
Read it both ways. Bought piece by piece, the cheapest path to the same four formats is a per-photo app plus Zillow's free tour, if you own a supported 360° camera; Nodalview's case is that it is one app, one brand and one team account instead of two or three. October replaces only the photo-and-video part, and charges for the guided capture and the walkthrough rather than per photo; your first place is free, including the walkthrough (pricing).
Three things to check before you switch
- Which formats your buyers actually use. In NAR's 2025 survey, 83% of buyers who searched online rated photos very useful, 57% floor plans and 41% virtual tours. If tours are rarely opened in your market, you may be paying for a format you do not need; if your buyers relocate from afar, a tour may matter more than anything else.
- What the price is really per. A quoted plan plus credits (Nodalview), active spaces a month (Matterport), free (Zillow 3D Home), per photo (Exposio, Ovvy), credits and plans with tours included (PhotoUp) or per place of up to six rooms (October).
- Disclosure. Staging, emptying a room, repainting walls, erasing objects and sky replacement, all of which Nodalview's AI offers, are alterations under California's AB 723 and most MLS rules, whoever makes them. Every October photo is AI-generated from your capture, not just the empty and staged rooms, so label it AI-altered or digitally altered where your MLS, portal or state requires; October's download includes the unaltered original of every photo, so you can link or provide it where your MLS or state requires. See AI photo editing and MLS rules.

Questions
What is the best alternative to Nodalview?
It depends on which part you use. For 3D tours and floor plans, Matterport or Zillow 3D Home. For HDR photos and a video at published prices, Exposio. For human-edited photos plus 360° tours and property websites, PhotoUp. For a person checking every phone photo, Ovvy. If you want the app to choose where you stand and return AI-generated photos and a walkthrough video, usually within a few hours, October, from $49 a place with the first place free.
How much does Nodalview cost?
Nodalview's plans are by quote: its pricing page asks for your contact details, and yearly billing is 10% off. Credits come on top or can be used pay as you go: 1 a photo, 15 a video, virtual visit or floor plan, and 1 to 3 an AI edit. In the US App Store, 20 credits are $28.99 and 40 are $55; its site says the biggest pack brings a credit down to €0.60. There is a 14-day free trial with no card.
Does Nodalview work on Android?
Its mobile app page says the app works on iPhone and Android smartphones. The App Store version needs iOS 17 or later.
Is there a free alternative to Nodalview?
Zillow 3D Home is free and posts tours to Zillow, Trulia and Redfin; an interactive floor plan needs a supported 360° camera. Exposio is free to shoot with a watermark and charges $0.99 to remove it from a photo. October's first place, up to 6 rooms with photos and a walkthrough, is free.
Does October make virtual tours or floor plans?
No. October delivers AI-generated photos drawn from one guided iPhone walk and an AI walkthrough video made from those photos. For a 360° tour or a floor plan, use Zillow 3D Home or Matterport alongside it, or Nodalview if you want them all in one place.
What happened to ProperShot?
ProperShot, a guided phone camera with AI editing, is now published by Nodalview on the App Store, so it is not an independent alternative. It is covered in the best real estate photography apps.
Did you test all seven?
No. This page compares what each company publishes on its App Store listing and website, checked on October 22, 2026, plus a dated pricing capture for Matterport. We only describe October from first-hand knowledge, because we make it.
